- Couscous300 mg
- In a bowl, mix the salt, cornmeal (couscous) and water. Stir well with your hands, let it rest to hydrate the couscous flakes.
- When the flakes are hydrated, place the mixture in a deep dish, concentrating most of it in the middle, as if it were a small mound.
- Take a clean, dry dish towel, place it over the plate, stretching well and tying a knot at the bottom. Like the example in the 2nd photo.
- In a mug or a pan, put some water, and place the plate upside down so that the couscous faces the water and the plate serves as a lid.
- After about 15 to 20 min, it will be ready, turn off the heat and remove the dish over the pan/mug, being careful not to burn yourself. Ready!
