- Recipe
- Wheat van400 g
- warm milk150 ml
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Butter or margarine at room temperature2 tablespoon
- Organic Dry Yeast (package)1 unit(s)
- Whole egg1 unit(s)
- In the planetary mixer, place the flour, yeast, sugar and salt and mix;
- Then add the lightly beaten egg, the butter or margarine and finally the milk (half);
- I turn on the mixer and gradually add the rest of the milk (important to observe the dough, if you need a little more milk, you can add), I leave the dough beating for 8 to 9 minutes at medium speed (the dough is exactly smooth and soft, but without sticking to the hands;
- If you are going to do this process by hand, the beating takes a little longer, 10 to 15 minutes (but the result is the same);
- After kneading, place the dough in a bowl and cover well (I like to cover it with plastic wrap and a clean dish towel on top), let the dough rest for 30 minutes (or until it doubles in volume) in a warm place preferably;
- After this time, we will shape the rolls, divide the dough into 8 pieces + or - equal and boleio (I make balls), place in a greased shape with oil, leaving space between them (I like to use an English bread pan);
- Cover the mold and let it rest again for about 30 minutes (or until it doubles in volume);
- After the resting time, brush the bread with olive oil (you can use egg yolks too) and place in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes or until golden;
- Note: if it was cold in your city, the time for the dough to rise should be longer and no problem, this will not interfere with the final result 😉. Enjoy your food!
