- mayonnaise500 g
- cream cheese250 g
- cheese for grating100 g
- Scallions2 unit(s)
- parsley sticks2 unit(s)
- garlic cloves5 unit(s)
- Oregano to taste
- Chili Pepper to taste
- stale bread with salt.10 unit(s)
- Squeeze well and then crush the garlic (do not add salt).
- Reserve.
- Chop the chives and parsley. Reserve.
- Grate the cheese (on the same medium grater). Reserve.
- In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until a smooth paste.
- The ideal texture to spread on bread is the very consistency of mayonnaise.
- The flavor varies from person to person, so taste the pure recipe to see if you need to change anything and add the modifications little by little.
- Once the paste is ready, cut the breads normally and fill them with plenty of cream (approximately 2 full tablespoons), spreading them over the two inside parts and "smearing" the outside part to make it brown.
- Bake on the grill or in a low oven, to allow time for the cheese to melt without burning the outside of the bread.
