- Ingredients
- Recipe
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- warm milk250 ml
- Oil3 tablespoon
- Margarine1 tablespoon
- Sugar4 tablespoon
- Salt1/2 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour (approximately)500 g
- Organic Dry Yeast5 g
- Mix sugar and yeast. Add the warm milk, dilute it very well, cover with a cloth and leave for about 10 minutes until this mixture foams.
- After, add oil, margarine, eggs (I put already beaten) and salt. Mix it all up.
- Gradually add the flour until the point of kneading.
- Knead the dough on a floured bench, until the dough is smooth, approximately 15/20 minutes.
- Let the dough rest for 1 hour in a container covered with a cloth. *TIP: If the weather is not hot, while preparing the dough, let the oven heat up, and then when putting the dough to rest, turn off the oven, forre well, if the dough is in a plastic container, it works very well. The important thing is for the dough to rest in a warm environment and without wind current.
- After resting, shape the breads as you wish, place in a greased shape and let rest for another 1 hour covered with a cloth.
- When there are 10 minutes left before the rest is over, preheat the oven.
- Mix 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of water to brush the buns.
- Take it to the oven until it bakes and it's golden, around here it's around 20 min at 200°.
- ADDITIONAL: THIS SAME DOUGH CAN BE USED TO MAKE HUNGARIAN SLICES, IT LOOKS VERY GOOD!
