- Dry Organic Baking Powder10 g
- Butter/margarine3 tablespoon
- Sugar1/2 cup
- Warm water250 ml
- Chocolate Chips200 g
- Dried fruits200 g
- Essence of Panettone1 tablespoon
- Beat the eggs, sugar, warm water, yeast and 2 tablespoons of butter at room temperature in a blender for 3 minutes.
- Put it in a basin add the essence of panettone and start putting the sifted wheat flour little by little. Keep mixing with a wooden spoon to make it easier. Mix well for about 5 minutes. The dough is very heavy and elastic.
- Then cover the basin and leave it in a stuffy place for 40 minutes, or until it doubles in volume.
- After that time, remove the air from the dough and divide it into two portions. It will yield two panettone of 500 grams. In one part put the chocolate tastes and in the other the dried fruits.
- Place in panettone mold, cover with a dish towel and let rise again for 40 minutes in the switched off oven.
- After that, unite scissors ✂️ with butter and make a cut in the middle of the panettone and put half a tablespoon of butter over the cut, this will make your panettone very humid.
- Take to bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden. TIP: I put it to bake in two ways so as not to run the risk of burning the bottom.
- After baking, I took the panettone out of the mold and let it cool on top of the stove, so that the panettone does not look stale.
