Manioc gnocchi

Colocar as mandioquinha em uma panela com água e sal para cozinhar. Assim que ficar macia tirar toda a água quente e passar a mandioquinha em um espremedor. 

Place the manioc in a pan with water and salt to cook. As soon as it gets soft, remove all the hot water and pass the manioc through a juicer.

Em uma tigela colocar a mandioquinha o ovo e a farinha integral e misturar bem. Até a massa ficar bem homogênea. Enrele a massa e corte em pedaços. Cozinhe os pedaços em água fervente, até subir a superfície. Reserve.

In a bowl put the manioc, the egg and the wholemeal flour and mix well. Until the dough is very homogeneous. Roll up the dough and cut into pieces. Cook the pieces in boiling water until they rise to the surface. Reserve.

Colocar um fio de azeite em uma panela e adicionar o alho amassado e a cebola picada em cubos para refogar. Depois colocar o espinafre. Tem que ficar bem cozida.

Put a drizzle of olive oil in a pan and add the crushed garlic and diced onion to sauté. Then add the spinach. It has to be well cooked.

Levar para o liquidificador ou no mixer o espinafre cozido com o leite e o amido de milho. Bater bem. Levar de volta essa mistura para a panela e colocar o creme de leite, verificar o sal  e deixar engrossar um pouco o molho antes de colocar no nhoque. Servir quentinho.

Place the cooked spinach with the milk and cornstarch in a blender or mixer. hit well. Return this mixture to the pan and add the cream, check the salt and let the sauce thicken a little before adding it to the gnocchi. Serve warm.
