- Fresh Basil1 cup
- Chopped walnuts or sunflower seeds3 tablespoon
- Fresh Grated Parmesan1/2 cup
- Garlic clove without the bud1 unit(s)
- Extra virgin olive oil1/2 cup
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Pasta250 g
- Wash and dry the basil leaves well, remove each leaf from the stalks.
- In a food processor or blender or mixer or marble mortar, blend all ingredients except basil until smooth. After crushed, add the basil and beat again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the pasta to cook with salt in boiling water, remove it a minute before it is ready, transfer it to a pan with a ladle of the cooking water and two tablespoons of the pesto - but you can add more if you want. Mix until it's slightly creamy and it's ready, just serve!
- It also goes well with bacon (I put some cubes in my pasta), chicken, eggs, burrata, mozzarella, polenta, etc.
