- Homemade or Tuscan sausage500 g
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Red onion1/2 unit(s)
- Garlic (clove2 unit(s)
- Fennel1 coffee spoon
- Nutmeg1 coffee spoon
- Girl's Finger Pepper1 teaspoon
- Salt1 coffee spoon
- Cachaça1/2 cup
- Peeled Tomato (can)1 unit(s)
- Basil1 tablespoon
- ● Remove the sausage from the casing.
- ● Heat a frying pan and add a tablespoon of oil. Add the sausage and let it brown.
- ● First add the diced onion and then the finely chopped chili pepper and garlic, along with the fennel and nutmeg. Saute for 2 minutes.
- ● Add the cachaça and tilt the skillet slightly towards the flame of the fire. At that moment the cachaça will ignite to flambé the sausage, but don't be scared. Let the flame of the skillet go out and add the peeled tomato and tomato paste.
- ● Adjust the salt. The suggestion is for 1 teaspoon of salt. But season to taste.
- ● Cook the pasta in 5 liters of boiling water for the time indicated on the package. Remove and mix with the sauce, finishing with the basil leaves and grated cheese.
