- Wheat flour400 g
- Salt to taste
- Organic Dry Yeast10 g
- Melted butter1 tablespoon
- warm milk180 ml
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Gem1 unit(s)
- Cold coffee to taste
- In a small bowl place the milk, the lightly beaten egg, the butter, the yeast. Mix well and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.
- Make a hole in the center and start adding the liquids, mixing until you get a homogeneous and smooth mass.
- Place the dough on a bench and knead until the dough is very smooth, approximately 10 minutes.
- Return the dough to the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise indoors for 40 minutes to an hour or until doubled in volume.
- Grease a 25cm X 10cm shape with butter. After the dough has risen, place it back on the bench, expel the excess air and accommodate the dough inside the form. Cover with a cloth and let it double in volume, approximately 30 minutes.
- Mix the yolk with the coffee. Brush this mixture gently on the dough and bake for 30 minutes at 180C or until golden.
