Potato Bread with Cheese and Organic Honey

- Recipe
- Mashed potato200 g
- Dry yeast10 g
- refined sugar1 coffee spoon
- Salt1 coffee spoon
- Whole milk200 ml
- Wheat Flour4 cup
- Margarine or butter3 tablespoon
- Egg2 unit(s)
- Oil1/4 cup
- Gem for brushing1 unit(s)
- Organic Honey (Gerais honey) to taste
- Grated mozzarella cheese for topping to taste
- In a large bowl mix the sugar with the yeast
- Add the eggs and mix, add the butter, oil, salt and mashed potatoes and mix everything
- Add the flour and milk little by little while you knead the dough.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and homogeneous (if necessary, add a little more flour, but do not overdo it... this dough is a bit sticky anyway)
- Cover with a towel and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and place the grated Mozzarella filling, close your bun and place it in a mold covered with a cloth, let it rest again for about 30 minutes
- Brush each bun with the egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes or until golden
- Serve with Organic honey on top 😋
- Tip: I marked the buns with stuffing with a little piece of cheese on top because I made half the recipe without stuffing 😉 use your creativity and you can stuff it as you prefer 😉
