- Chopped Onion to taste
- Garlic to taste
- Desalt, cook and shred the codfish.
- Reserve.
- Peel, cut and cook the potato the day before using it, keeping it in the fridge, uncovered.
- The next day, grind the potato while it is still cold.
- Put parsley and chopped onions in the potato mass.
- Then put the shredded cod and mix everything very well.
- After the mixture is homogeneous, add 1 whole egg to bind.
- Only add the second egg if the dough is not in the ideal consistency, which is not to hold your hands when making the dumplings to fry.
- Put enough oil in a deep pan so that the dumplings are completely immersed.
- Make the oil very hot (300°).
- Put the dumplings in the hot oil and wait for them to float when they are at the ideal point.
