- warm milk400 ml
- 10g packet of yeast for breads1 unit(s)
- Sugar4 tablespoon
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- Wheat flour750 g
- Oil3 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Butter2 tablespoon
- Egg yolks for brushing1 unit(s)
- shredded mozzarella cheese200 g
- Shredded ham200 g
- Oregano to taste
- In a large bowl, whisk together the warm milk, yeast and sugar. Shake well.
- Then add the egg, oil and mix some more. Add half of the wheat flour little by little until well incorporated. Add the butter and a pinch of salt. Add the rest of the flour until it starts not to stick to your hands. Grease a workbench with wheat flour and roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin.
- Stuffing with cheese and ham. Add oregano and then roll the dough like a rocambole. Place the dough in a greased shape with butter and flour. Make a few cuts in the dough as if you were going to cut the bread and let the dough rest for 45 minutes. Brush the egg yolk on top and add oregano to taste. Bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 30 minutes.
