- wheat flour2 cup
- cake yeast20 g
- cinnamon powder1 teaspoon
- spoon grated ginger (soup)1/2 tablespoon
- allspice powder1/2 teaspoon
- Nutmeg1/2 teaspoon
- Organic or brown sugar1 cup
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Grated carrots2 unit(s)
- Canola oil100 ml
- Chopped walnuts to taste
- Sugar Icing to taste
- Icing sugar200 g
- Egg whites2 unit(s)
- Juice of one lemon1 unit(s)
- Mix the dry ingredients first: wheat flour, spices, yeast (sodium bicarbonate is optional, you can add half a teaspoon if you want)
- In a bowl mix the eggs with the oil
- Pour this mixture of eggs into the dry ones and stir well, add a third of a cup of warm water and stir gently.
- Finally, add the carrots, raisins and nuts, bake for 00:50 minutes approx.
- You can consume the cake without the icing which is already delicious.
- But if you want to impress on a date or a special day, make the icing to decorate
- Beat until stiff peaks, add the sugar and lemon juice, beat until you create a firm, white consistency.
- Spread the icing with the help of a spatula over the cake, decorate with cherries, nuts and rosemary, but you can use your creativity and devour with whatever you prefer.
- Aromatic, delicious and very beautiful cake!
