- 1/2 teaspoon of dry yeast3 g
- 1 teaspoon of sugar6 g
- 1 pinch of salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil30 ml
- 1/2 cup warm water100 ml
- Egg1 unit(s)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour250 g
- Egg Yolk1 unit(s)
- Chopped ham140 g
- shredded mozzarella cheese200 g
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese100 g
- Oregano to taste
- In a bowl place the ham, cheese, curd, oregano and mix well. Reserve.
- For the dough, put the yeast, sugar, egg, oil and mix to dissolve the sugar and yeast.
- Gradually add the wheat, the pinch of salt, stirring constantly, knead the dough until it comes off of your hands and becomes smooth.
- Separate the dough into 7 parts, fill each part with a portion of the stuffing and arrange the buns in a round shape greased with olive oil.
- Cover with a cloth or plastic and let the dough rise for an hour or until it doubles in size.
- Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with oregano.
- Take a pan that fits the pan inside and place 3 pie pans in the bottom, so the pan with the breads will not have direct contact with the bottom of the pan.
- Cover the pan and bake the buns over medium heat for 30 minutes or until lightly golden. Help yourself.
