- warm water1 cup

- Margarine1/2 to taste
- Minho starch (maizena)2/1 cup
- Wheat flour3 cup
- Filling: milk2/1 cup
- Gems2 to taste
- Corn starch2 teaspoon
- Sugar8 tablespoon
- Finely grated coconut100 g
- Coverage: 2 gems for brushing2 to taste
- DOUGH: Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.
- Add the rest of the dough ingredients.
- knead well
- Cover with a cloth and let it rest in a dry place for about 1 hour.
- FILLING: Mix the stuffing ingredients in a pan.
- Bring to a boil until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Set aside to cool
- METHOD: Roll out the dough with the rolling pin on a floured table to a thickness of 1 cm.
- Spread the filling over the rolled out dough and roll up like a roulade.
- Cut into 3 cm thick slices.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and cover with a cloth.
- Let the dough rise until it doubles in volume.
- Brush with the egg yolks and bake in a preheated medium oven.
