Wholemeal Caramelized Pineapple Pie

- Sliced pineapple1 unit(s)
- Whole wheat flour2 cup
- Skimmed milk200 ml
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Sunflower oil1/2 cup
- Demerara sugar2 cup
- Chemical Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Melt 1 cup of sugar directly in the pan that will bake the cake, over low heat, until it spreads throughout the pan and set aside
- Cut the pineapple into 1 finger thick slices and set aside
- For the cake dough: mix the wheat with the sugar, then add the liquid ingredients (eggs, milk and oil) and finally add the yeast, beating with your hand or a mixer.
- Assemble the slices at the bottom of the baking dish that already has the melted sugar and place the dough.
- Bake for about 40 min at 180°C
- Unmold carefully while still hot to release easily from the bottom.
