- Boneless chicken breast, cut into fillets250 g
- Small Sicilian Lemon1 unit(s)
- Lightly beaten egg1 unit(s)
- Breadcrumbs1/2 cup
- Wheat flour1/3 cup
- Minced garlic1 teaspoon
- Chopped fresh sage to taste
- Sea salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Soybean oil to taste
- Season the chicken fillets with the garlic, half of the squeezed lemon, salt, sage and pepper. Leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Coat the chicken fillets in wheat, dip in the beaten egg and then coat well in the breadcrumbs, press well.
- Heat a pan with the oil and fry the chicken fillets. Let drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Squeeze the other half of the lemon over the fried fillets and serve immediately.
