- Chicken drumstick1 kg
- Squeezed medium lime2 unit(s)
- Butter50 g
- Chopped Onion3/4 cup
- Chopped tomato without skin and seeds1 cup
- Hot water400 ml
- Sour cream200 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Sliced or grated mozzarella cheese to taste
- Season the drumsticks with lemon, salt and pepper and leave in the fridge to get seasoning for at least 2 hours.
- Heat the butter in a pan and brown the onion well. Add the chicken and let it brown well on both sides.
- Add the tomato and mix, add the hot water, stir and cover the pan. Let it cook until the chicken is tender. Stir a few times so you don't burn the bottom.
- Transfer the drumsticks to a heatproof dish and place the sauce in the pan in the blender.
- Add the cream of milk together in the blender and beat until it's homogeneous, adjust the salt.
- Place the mixture from the blender over the drumsticks, cover with the cheese and place in the preheated oven at 220ºC to heat for about 15 minutes.
- Serve then accompanied by white rice and straw potatoes.
