- Pork lard1 tablespoon
- Sugar1 teaspoon
- Chicken breast pieces1 kg
- Chopped Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Crushed Garlic2 unit(s)
- Red Pepper1/2 unit(s)
- Yellow pepper1/2 unit(s)
- Louro, spicy paprika, saffron, Bahian seasoning, salt and green smell to taste
- Tomato sauce1 cup
- Diced Potatoes500 g
- In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of lard and 1 teaspoon of sugar (the sugar will give the chicken a caramelized golden color)
- Then I added 1 kg of chicken breast in large pieces and let it brown well on one side and then on the other (with thigh, drumstick and wing drumstick it's just as delicious 😉)
- Then I added 1 chopped onion, 2 macerated garlic cloves and sautéed well, then I added 1 chopped tomato, 1/2 red pepper, 1/2 yellow pepper, 1 bay leaf, spicy paprika, saffron, Bahian seasoning to taste, 1 cup of tomato sauce and let it sauté very well for the flavors to mix
- I added potatoes cut into large cubes and water little by little until the potatoes and chicken were fully cooked, I adjusted the salt and finished with green smell to taste (you can add carrots, manioc, green beans, okra, in short, whatever you like) OK)
