- Boneless thigh and drumstick1 unit(s)
- Sugar1 tablespoon
- Oil, olive oil or butter to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water1/2 cup
- Orange juice1/2 cup
- Minced garlic3 unit(s)
- Fat of your choice in the bottom of the pan, still turned off with the sugar. Over high heat, let the sugar caramelize.
- Put the chicken just seasoned with salt and pepper and let it brown well on both sides.
- Mix water and orange juice and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add the water and orange juice mixture every time the liquid in the pan dries up.
- Repeat the process for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Stirring every time you add more liquid.
- Add the garlic and sauté a little longer.
- When the garlic is golden, turn off the heat and serve.
