- In a pan put the 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter, 1 whole grated onion. Let the onion brown well, almost burning, because that's what will give the color to the chicken in the end. The chicken itself will release water, let it dry and add more water. If you want more sauce, add a little more water, and let it boil well to get that very concentrated broth, finally finish with green smell.
