- Salt to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Oil or olive oil to taste
- Vinegar to taste
- Peel the chayotes into cubes and cook (or steam) Note: Chayote cannot be overcooked or undercooked, check with a fork if it is firm and soft.
- Remove from pan and place in colander.
- In a container, place the chayote, salt, oil, parsley and vinegar. (everything to your liking)
- Mix everything together and place in the fridge for approximately 45 minutes.
- Serve cold and enjoy!
