- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil to taste
- Sicilian lemon zest to taste
- Wrap the beetroot in aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Season the ricotta cream with lemon zest and salt. Make a bed on a plate with this cream.
- Place the chopped beetroot on top. Season with salt, pepper and drizzle with oil.
- Finish with basil leaves.
