- Fresh Organic Yeast30 g
- Warm water1 cup
- Whole wheat flour2 cup
- Oil4 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Brown sugar2 tablespoon
- Regular wheat flour1 cup
- Oil for greasing to taste
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water, add half of the wholemeal flour and mix with a spoon until smooth. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour. Add the oil, salt, sugar and the rest of the flour, stirring with a spoon until it releases from the side of the bowl. If necessary, add more wheat flour. Cover and let rest for 1 hour. Divide the dough into 2 greased medium loaf pans and let rest for 30 minutes. Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes or until golden. Let cool, unmold and, if desired, serve with cottage cheese.
