- Cooked rice300 g
- Cooked black-eyed peas300 g
- Onion in brunoise100 g
- Tomato in brunoise100 g
- Green pepper in brunoise100 g
- Bottle butter50 g
- Pepperoni sausage in brunoise150 g
- Bacon in brunoise150 g
- Shredded beef150 g
- Chiffonade chopped chives30 g
- Curd cheese to taste
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the bottled butter, then add the pepperoni, or bacon and the jerky until they gain color.
- Add and onion and cook until it becomes translucent.
- Add the other vegetables and then rice and beans.
- Cover the pan and let all the ingredients exchange heat.
- Meanwhile, in a heated skillet with oil, brown the curds cheeses.
- In my platter version, I serve the cheese whole, but traditionally it is chopped and served with the rice. But that's up to each one's creativity ;)
