- Clean the chicken, break it up at the joints, season it with salt, garlic and saute it in fat and with the bacon broken into pieces. When the chicken pieces are golden, add the chopped onion, tomatoes, rice and a few pieces of Portuguese sausage, let it cook.
- Add whole cabbage leaves and water to cover everything very well, leaving about four fingers above the ingredients.
- Add green smell and cook over low heat. When the rice is cooked, add the green corn (drain the water) and leave it on a low heat, but do not let it dry out, because this rice must be served with a little broth. Help yourself and bon appetit.
