Sliced Eggplant

Onion and minced garlic

Salt, oregano and black pepper

Water for cooking

Braised eggplant

Comecei cortando as berinjelas e reservei .

I started by cutting the eggplants and set aside.

Em uma panela pequena coloquei azeite,  alho e a cebola picadinha e deixei fritar por uns 3 minutos.  Acrescentei a berinjela e deixei refogar por mais 2 minutos. 

In a small pan put olive oil, garlic and chopped onion and let it fry for about 3 minutes. I added the eggplant and let it cook for another 2 minutes.

Coloquei água e tampe e deixei cozinhar mais uns 10 minutos ou até as berinjelas ficarem bem molinhas .


I put water and cover and let it cook for another 10 minutes or until the eggplants are very soft.
