- Cooked Butter Beans1 cup
- Tahini2 tablespoon
- Squeezed lime1 unit(s)
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoon
- Oregano to taste
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling hummus to taste
- Filtered water to beat and make the point1 tablespoon
- Cook the butter beans (in the pressure cooker for 25 minutes or in the regular pot for 50 minutes)
- Let it cool down and put it in the processor along with the tahini, the squeezed lemon, the salt and the filtered water
- Beat well until smooth and creamy (add more water if necessary)
- Remove from the processor and water olive oil and oregano
- Serve with rice crackers or toast or vegetables or flatbread or Italian bread đ
