- Chickpeas400 g
- Lemon2 unit(s)
- Olive oil80 ml
- Garlic3 unit(s)
- Tahini3 tablespoon
- Salt to taste to taste
- Mint to taste
- Flatbread to taste
- Boiled Eggs to taste
- Assorted vegetables to taste
- The chickpeas must be soaked for 12 hours with a spoonful of bicarbonate before preparation.
- After this time, discard the water from the sauce and put the chickpeas to cook in two liters of water
- After cooking, reserve 200mls of water and mix in a blender along with the chickpeas, beat until the grain breaks, it does not need to turn into a smooth paste
- Then add the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon, Tahini, salt and beat for a few more seconds.
- Pour this mixture into a bowl, drizzle olive oil over it, and garnish with mint.
- Suggestion: Assemble a beautiful Mediterranean-style board with flatbread, vegetables, boiled eggs, kafta etc...
