- Recipe
- Ground beef (preferably duckling)300 g
- Tuscan sausage200 g
- Bacon or pancetta100 g
- Peeled Tomatoes4 cup
- White wine1 cup
- Warm water2 cup
- Chopped Celery1 cup
- grated carrot1 cup
- Chopped Onion1 cup
- Bay Leaf2 unit(s)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Break apart the Tuscan sausage and mix with the ground duckling.
- In a pan, heat the oil (over medium heat) then add the onion, celery, carrot, bay leaves and bacon. Sauté until the vegetables are caramelized (about 15 minutes) Add the meat mixture and let any liquid that has formed dry. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the white wine and let it evaporate well. Then add the two cans of tomato, the warm water, stir well and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 2 hours or until your sauce is a creamy consistency. Check salt and pepper. And your sauce is ready. You can use the sauce in a dough, like a pancake filling. Or freeze in individual portions (lasts up to 3 months) or make a delicious lasagna like me😋
