- Brown Rice2 cup
- Scrambled egg5 unit(s)
- Onion, thinly sliced for garnish1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Oregano (optional) to taste
- Ground Garlic2 unit(s)
- Chopped Onion1/2 cup
- Extra virgin olive oil or oil4 tablespoon
- In a pan put the olive oil, the chopped onion and the ground garlic and sauté until golden, add the brown rice (I used type 1) and saute again
- Season with salt and cover with water up to 3 fingers above the rice, leave the pan half-covered and wait to cook until all the water is dry, set aside
- In a bowl, beat the eggs until frothy and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cook the eggs in a non-stick frying pan, make the scrambled eggs and set aside
- On a platter mount your special rice: put the cooked brown rice, the scrambled eggs and mix well, finish with the onion rings and oregano to taste. Ready 😋
