- Orange juice1 cup
- White wine100 ml
- Water150 ml
- Clove2 unit(s)
- Olive Oil1 tablespoon
- Sugar1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch1 teaspoon
- Small chopped onion1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- In a pan, heat the oil and fry the onion until it becomes transparent.
- Add the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
- Add water and orange juice.
- Add the cloves, sugar and salt.
- Boil for 5 minutes. After that, remove the cloves and discard.
- Add the cornstarch and mix well.
- If there are a little lumps, pass the sauce in a mixer or blender to make it creamy and uniform.
- Serve as a side dish with chicken, duck or pork.
