- 500 g of carioca beans 1 bay leaf 2 tablespoons of oil 1 chopped onion 2 cloves of garlic, crushed 2 chopped tomatoes 1 pinch of black pepper 1 pinch of cumin 1 pinch of nutmeg 1 sachet of MAGGI MY SEGREDO Saute 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley 3 tablespoons chopped coriander500 g
- Place the beans in a bowl and cover with water. Leave to soak overnight. Drain the water. In a pressure cooker, place the beans and bay leaf, cover with 2 liters of water. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes after getting pressure. Turn off the heat, wait for all the pressure to release and check if the beans are soft. Keep cooking on low heat. In a skillet, heat the oil and brown the onion and garlic. Add the other ingredients and a ladle of the cooked beans. Mash the beans and return this mixture to the pressure cooker, seasoning all the beans. Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. serve.
