- Cut the peppers so that you can remove the seeds, Chop the pepper into very small squares and set aside. In the pan add 1 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water, juice of half an orange and the juice of one lemon. Until the sugar dissolves, add the peeled and crushed apples. Then add the peppers. On medium to high heat, stir occasionally until you notice that it has reached the consistency of jelly. *It's a great accompaniment to tapioca dadinho, or karaage chicken.
