- Wash the peppers and remove the seeds and cut them finely and set aside. Peel the apples and remove the seeds and skin. Place the orange and lemon juice in a pan and grate the apples on the coarse side of the grater. ( grate directly into the pan, so the apple does not darken in the juice). Add sugar and chopped pepper. Mix well and heat over high heat until it starts to boil. Then lower the heat to medium and stir occasionally. With the help of a spoon, remove the foam from the surface. The point is before you see the bottom of the pan, because if it passes, when it cools it gets very hard. Place in sterilized glass and store in the fridge.
