- Cooked chickpeas1 cup
- Cooked and peeled pine nuts1 cup
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Garlic Clove3 unit(s)
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce1.1/2 cup
- Cashew Nut Cream (recipe in tips)1/2 cup
- salt1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika to taste
- Syrian pepper to taste
- Chimichurri to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Chilli Pepper to taste
- Ketchup1 tablespoon
- Yellow Mustard1 tablespoon
- Heat a large pan or skillet with olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until wilted.
- Add the minced garlic and stir for another 1 minute.
- Then add the cooked chickpeas and pine nuts, as well as the other seasonings, mixing well.
- Sauté for a few minutes on low heat to discover the flavors and then add the tomato sauce.
- For more flavor, add the ketchup and mustard and mix it all in.
- Finally, add the cashew nut cream (I taught you how to do it in the tips) and mix well. Turn off the fire.
- Taste to see if you need to adjust the seasoning and then serve with the side dishes you prefer.
