- sesame seeds, shelled (can be white or black)500 g
- Wash the sesame seeds under running water. Then dry them well with a cloth.
- Place in a medium oven for approximately 5 minutes. You need to pay attention because, because the seeds are very small, they can burn easily. The color we want is slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a while. Then put it in a food processor and blend until you get a homogeneous mixture*.
- Store in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
- Observation
- Depending on the power of the processor, this may take a while. In this case, turn off the processor, scrape the sides with a spatula and wait a while for the sesame oil to release. Beat again and repeat the process until you get the texture you prefer.
