  • Sardine fillets1 kg
  • Lemon3 unit(s)
  • Garlic3 to taste
  • Saffron1 tablespoon
  • Cornmeal1 cup
  • Wheat flour1 cup
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Oil to taste
  1. Season the sardine fillets with lemon, garlic, salt and saffron. Let it taste for 30 minutes. Mix the cornmeal with the wheat flour and a pinch of black pepper. Bread the fillets and fry in very hot oil and drain on absorbent paper. You don't need to go through the egg to coat.
