- Sardine fillets1 kg
- Lemon3 unit(s)
- Garlic3 to taste
- Saffron1 tablespoon
- Cornmeal1 cup
- Wheat flour1 cup
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Oil to taste
- Season the sardine fillets with lemon, garlic, salt and saffron. Let it taste for 30 minutes. Mix the cornmeal with the wheat flour and a pinch of black pepper. Bread the fillets and fry in very hot oil and drain on absorbent paper. You don't need to go through the egg to coat.
