- Coconut milk200 ml
- Salt to taste
- Curry / curry1 tablespoon
- Mustard Grain1 teaspoon
- Cumin Grain1 teaspoon
- grated ginger1 tablespoon
- Laurel Leaf2 unit(s)
- Olive oil15 ml
- Tomato1 unit(s)
- Minced garlic1 unit(s)
- Hot water to taste
- Heat the oil in a low, wide pan. Add the coriander, mustard and cumin seeds. Mix for a few moments and add the bay leaf and curry. Let it sauté for a few minutes on low heat to release all the aromas. Add the onion, sauté for a few moments, add the garlic and ginger. Saute until the garlic starts to brown. Add the water, coconut milk, tomatoes and sweet paprika. Season with salt and let it cook until it starts to get creamy.
- Place the fish fillets side by side. Close the pan and cook for about 8 minutes. Remove the fish from the pan, wait for the sauce to reduce, stirring occasionally. It should take another 5 minutes. This step is so that the fillets do not fall apart. Return the fish to the pan. Cook for another 2 minutes with the pan covered and serve.
