- Wheat flour1/2 cup
- Cornmeal Flour1/2 cup
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Cold water1 cup
- Squeezed lemon4 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Turmeric (optional)1 tablespoon
- Oil for frying1 cup
- Start by washing the fish from the garden well, dry well with a dish towel and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal and egg.
- Then, add the ice water and the squeezed lemon, combine everything until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Heat a skillet with oil. When it is very hot, dip the fish in the dough and put it to fry until golden.
- Once fried, remove them with a slotted spoon and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Serve your fish breaded with the sauce of your choice.
