- Corn (optional) to taste
- Choose a pan that fits 5 slices of bread on the base (4 whole and 1 cut in half to complete the shape) and place them.
- Sprinkle the bread with milk seasoned with salt (wet it, but don't soak it).
- Spread the mayonnaise and tomato sauce.
- Add the cheese and ham (it’s nice to cut into strips)
- Cut the onion very thinly using a mandolin.
- Add the onion, tomato, corn and oregano.
- Add a new layer of bread, as on the base, and sprinkle with milk seasoned with salt.
- Bake at 180 degrees until the cheese melts and the base browns a little.
