- Preheat the oven to 180°C (medium temperature).
- Cut the baguette into 1 cm slices. Arrange the slices on a large baking sheet, one next to the other, and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
- Wash, dry and cut the tomatoes in half. Discard the seeds and cut each half into 0.5 cm cubes. Transfer the tomatoes to a bowl, add the basil leaves and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix gently.
- Peel the garlic clove. To assemble the bruschetta: rub the garlic clove over each toast and place a portion of the seasoned tomato. Drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil and serve immediately.
