Bruschetta with Crispy Seeds

- Bread of your choice (we use French bread)4 unit(s)
- Homemade tomato sauce5 tablespoon
- Red onion1 unit(s)
- Tomato2 unit(s)
- Red Pepper1 unit(s)
- Basil to taste
- Cheese of your choice (mine, mozzarella, parmesan...)200 g
- Mixed toasted seeds2 tablespoon
- Olive oil to taste
- Garlic to taste
- Salt to taste
- Cut the bread into slices about 1 finger thick then place them in a shape. Spread some homemade tomato sauce on all slices.
- Let's get to the stuffing! Cut the red pepper, red onion and tomatoes into very small cubes. Mix everything together and season with salt and a little olive oil. If you want, you can add a teaspoon of finely crushed garlic.
- With a tablespoon, take the stuffing and put it on top of the bread slices. Drizzle everything with a little more olive oil.
- Sprinkle the bruschetta with the grated cheese and place in the preheated oven, letting it bake for 15 to 20 minutes over medium heat.
- Remove from the oven and finish with a mix of toasted seeds. In this recipe we use the toasted seeds mix from Clube do Cereal, which contains: pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, linseed, chia and sesame seeds. Before serving, place the basil leaves on top and drizzle with a little more olive oil.
