- Recipe
- Wheat flour1 cup
- Sugar1/4 cup
- Butter1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence1 coffee spoon
- Pre-heat the oven at 180 °.
- In a large bowl, sift the flour and sugar (if you are using refined, you don't need to sift). Add the butter and vanilla.
- Mix with your hands until you form a homogeneous mass. It turns into one, very yellow, and it crumbles a lot. This is normal.
- Grease a medium baking pan with butter and flour, if you have parchment paper you can use it, it's even better.
- Shape the dough into a ball and remove pieces the size of a ping pong ball. If you're going to make it to sell, I recommend weighing and standardizing.
- Arrange on greased baking sheet. With the back of a fork, gently press the balls to make the mark and flatten them.
- Place in preheated oven for at least 25 minutes.
- OBS: The cookies come out white from the oven, don't get attached to appearances. If it's too golden, it's probably overcooked. Grease the pan with a little butter. Remember the cookies take a lot of butter, in the oven the fat is released and helps to unmold the cookies.
