Butter cookies for lunch

Preaqueça o forno a 180 ºC.
Numa tigela, junte a farinha, o açúcar, a manteiga e a essência de baunilha. Amasse bem com as mãos até formar uma massa lisa. Embale a massa com filme e leve para descansar na geladeira por 15 minutos. 
Modele bolinhas com a mão e amasse , fazendo o modelinho de moeda. Com um garfo, aperte levemente cada biscoito pra marcar. 
Leve ao forno para assar por cerca de 25 minutos ou até os biscoitos ficarem levemente dourados. Retire do forno, deixe esfriar antes de servir ou armazenar.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter and vanilla essence. Knead well with your hands until you form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough with cling film and let it rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Model balls with your hand and knead, making the coin model. With a fork, lightly press each cookie to score.
Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden. Remove from oven, let cool before serving or storing.
