- Cooked chickpeas300 g
- Lemon juice1 unit(s)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil5 tablespoon
- Tahini100 g
- Garlic1 unit(s)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- In a food processor, blend the hulled chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice and tahini. Season with salt and ground pepper. Add water little by little and beat until you get a homogeneous paste. The point should be a thick pâté.
- Remove hummus from processor, place on plate. If desired, add olive oil over the paste or garnish with hot paprika. Serve with pita bread.
