- For the dough: bicarbonate1.1/2 teaspoon
- Chocolate powder1/2 cup
- Boiling water1/2 cup
- Butter1/2 cup
- Sugar1.1/4 cup
- Vanilla1 teaspoon
- Salt (1 pinch) to taste
- Wheat flour2.1/2 cup
- Milk3/4 cup
- For the syrup: sugar3/4 cup
- Chocolate powder1 cup
- Butter4 tablespoon
- Milk1/2 cup
- Vanilla1 teaspoon
- Dissolve the bicarbonate and chocolate in the water and set aside.
- Place the butter, sugar, vanilla and salt in the mixer and beat, alternating between the flour and the milk.
- Finally, add the reserved chocolate and baking soda.
- Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes in a hot, preheated oven. Unmold and reserve.
- Syrup: Mix all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Pour the syrup over the warm cake. Let cool and cut into slices.
