- Separate the white from the yolk. In a bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. I used a fouet (I think it's a lot of effort to use the mixer for a single egg, but it can be a great option if you make larger quantities). Place the egg whites on a greased baking sheet (I used silicone) and make a small hole in the center. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 3 minutes. Remove and place the yolk in the hole made in the white and return to the oven for another 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
