- Wheat flour (for the dough)4.1/4 cup

- Butter without salt at room temperature (for the dough)2 tablespoon
- Butter without salt (for the filling)1 cup
- Condensed milk (for the filling)1/3 cup
- Grated coconut (for the filling)1.1/2 cup
- Coconut Milk (for the filling)50 ml
- Condensed milk (for the syrup)1 cup

- In a mixing bowl, add the Flour, sugar and yeast, mix with a spatula to combine the dry ingredients.
- Then add the egg and milk, beat in the mixer (with hook) for 2 min. to mix. Add the butter and let it beat for 3 minutes. (If you don't have a mixer, knead by hand for about 10 to 15 minutes until the dough is very elastic.)
- Let it rest for 1 hour, in a warm place, inside a bowl sprinkled with flour and covered with a damp cloth until it doubles in size.
- On a bench dusted with flour, roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin. The dough should be 1 cm. thick at the end.
- In a bowl, place the butter at room temperature, the condensed milk and the grated coconut. Mix well and set aside.
- Spread the filling along the entire length of the open dough with the help of a spatula, leaving an unfilled edge about a finger wide.
- Roll up like a swiss roll, without squeezing too much.
- Using a serrated knife, cut the dough into 6cm rolls. width.
- On a baking sheet, place the rolls next to each other with a space of about 3 cm. between them. Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes covered with a damp cloth. (The buns will rise and stick together. Don't worry.)
- Bake the rolls for 30 minutes, or until golden brown, in a preheated oven at 200°C.
- Mix condensed milk and coconut milk in a bowl to form a syrup.
- As soon as you remove the buns from the oven, while they are still hot, cover the buns with the syrup and sprinkle the grated coconut.
